Inside Hair by Easter — soft pink walls and brass detailing

Hair by Easter began the way most good things do — slowly, and on purpose.

After more than two decades behind the chair in Ottawa, Easter opened the doors of her own small salon on Bank Street. The brief was simple: a quiet room, a thoughtful service, and a chair where you’re never made to feel like one of fifteen.

Today, that chair sees first-cuts, last-minute weddings, long-standing regulars and the occasional out-of-towner who heard from a friend. Every appointment begins with a real conversation. Every appointment ends with a finish you can redo at home.
